and we want you to get on board!

For the past five years, the American Red Cross Evening at the Dunes event has grown in popularity, and this year's event was so successful that we maxed out capacity! With a retired Navy Admiral at the helm, we have pulled the anchor and are charting new waters. On Friday, June 13, 2003, we are launching the first ever Red Cross Gala at the breathtaking OceanCliff in Newport. This intimate hotel, with a fabulous view of the Newport Bridge, promises to be full of fun and excitement!

In 2002, Red Cross volunteers have responded to 189 fires, providing emergency food, clothing and shelter to over 1,100 Rhode Islanders who had no where else to go. We are the only agency in Rhode Island providing this critical service to our neighbors in need --- free of charge. However, we typically spend $1,000 per family we assist and with a cold winter thus far, we are assisting more victims compared to past years. The Red Cross is not a government agency and depends on special events, like the Red Cross Gala, to fund its work.

Please consider the following sponsorship opportunities:

ADMIRAL'S CLUB: With a $10,000 gift, your company will receive major visibility in several locations at the event. You will receive two (2) tables of ten at the event, a full page ad with special placement in our program and your organization's representative will be presented with an award during the evening festivities.
CAPTAIN'S CLUB: With a $5,000 gift, your company will be displayed in a list of major sponsors. You will receive one (1) table of ten at the event and a half-page ad in our program book. Your company will also receive a special award to display in your offices.
SKIPPER'S CLUB: With a $2,000 gift, your organization will be listed as a sponsor in our program. In addition, you will receive one (1) table of 10 at this prestigious event.
AD BOOK CLUB: Purchase an ad in our Red Cross Gala Ad Book, guaranteeing valuable exposure and humanitarian spirit! Ad book space ranges in price from $1,000 to $100. Call Kristin 401.831.7700 (x106) for pricing and details!
