The Red Cross vehicle will be parked at the corner of Providence and Wakefield Streets and will also drive through the surrounding neighborhoods to reach as many individuals and families as possible.
This planned distribution follows nearly a week of assistance to the people of Rhode Island offered by the Red Cross, which includes providing shelter, food, and hea
lth services to those affected by the flooding.
All residents whose homes were affected by the recent flooding are eligible to receive these items to assist in their recovery from this disaster.
Longtime Red Cross worker, Norma Pilkington, from Illlinois, says “We are here to help in any way we can. Rhode Island can depend on the American Red Cross.”
